These doors, from a 1874 historic home on First Street in Romeo Michigan are 8 feet 3 inches tall (per door) 30 inches wide and 3 inches thick. Approximately 225lbs a piece. Solid core oak with 1/2 inch Ash skins. Solid walnut trim and appliques and sills. These doors, after re-sizing on site, were retro fitted with new therm o tempered dual pane windows and new cut glass leaded accent upper windows in the fleur-de-lis design. Purple center cut glass medallion. Stained with UV protectant stain. Followed by 4 coats of satin sheen client resurface-able  (meaning: these doors, if properly looked after, will never have to be taken off again as the owners can simply clean then recoat in place when they need it. Approximately once every 5-7 years depending on the sun exposure.) The appliques and all trim were taken off and all areas of the doors were finished front and back, top to bottom. Including the mortise for the lock box. Lock restored to working condition and keys remade in skeleton style.
